This is an official wiki policy.
Its contents are considered binding for users of the ClockworkWiki.

This page covers acceptable behaviour of users on the ClockworkWiki.

No SPAM or advertising

Stupid Pointless Annoying Messages are not welcome here. Anyone who joins to SPAM will be permanently banned on sight. Posting advertising links is also forbidden in all namespaces.

No flaming/baiting/disrespect

Messing with other members as a joke is okay if everyone is okay with it, but preying on others using provocative or inflammatory comments is unacceptable.

No explicit or adult content

Yes, this includes suggestive content such as ecchi. If it’s even somewhat explicit, expect it to be removed and a warning given. More egregious violations may result in a block.

No sharing of personal info

Personally identifiable information about members of our wiki is to be kept off our wiki. Any kind of information that can link a member from here to their real lives is forbidden, unless they post it for themselves.

No piracy, warez, or illegal acts

We do not permit illegal activities on the wiki, and that includes sharing illicit torrents, links to sites involving piracy, and tools that circumvent copy protection such as keygens or cracks. Sharing torrents is fine if you have the legal right to do so, but if it is suspected to have a copyrighted payload it will be removed on sight. The ClockworkWiki subject to the laws of the United States of America and the laws of Paris, France for its hosting provider, so those must be adhered to where applicable as well.

Keep pages on-topic

Do not use non-talk pages as talk pages or discussion boards. Keep talk page discussions relevant to the pages they are attached to. If a discussion is meandering or has gone off-topic, move it to a user talk page with a link.

Always sign your comments

Do not forget to sign your comments using four tildes (~~~~) on talk pages, always. This will be transformed into your signature, which is configurable in your user preferences.

Listen to the staff

The ClockworkWiki staff exercise final discretion towards ambiguity about all policies on the wiki. They have the final say about enforcement of policies, guideline case finalisation, and dispute resolution. Follow their directions please.
